Travel grants

Thanks to the generous support of the Gerda Henkel Foundation, the 19th International Congress of Classical Archaeology is pleased to offer travel grants (to help cover flight, public transport & accommodation expenses) up to a maximum amount of 200 Euro. Funding is available for scholars facing financial challenges and coming from the following countries (listed below)*, who are willing to give a paper presentation at the conference. To submit an abstract for review, please visit our conference management platform, Converia, which will offer a guide through the process. Further information about the call for papers can be found here.

Applications can be submitted from 15 September on. Required documents to be considered for a travel grant include a completed application form (follows in due time), evidence of participation with paper presentation and a scanned passport. The refunds will be allocated at the conference, upon demonstration of receipts.
