Congress languages are English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Posters and proceedings can also be written in these languages. No translation services will be provided.
During the session meetings in Bonn (23 - 26 May) there will be the opportunity to book rooms for project meetings. This service is free of charge if at least one project member is registered at the congress. Free Internet access will be provided for all participants at both locations. Login via eduroam is possible in Bonn. If your home institution is a participant in this worldwide network, you can register using your own login data.
Both locations are equipped with modern beamer projectors, PCs and sound systems in all rooms. Please enquire at the congress office if you need additional media.
The standard electrical voltage in Germany is 230 volts AC, 50Hz. The electrical outlets in Germany take two-pronged, round-pin plugs. If you are arriving from outside Germany, you should check whether you need an adaptor for plugging in. Further information....
A free shuttle service from the more prominent hotels in Cologne and Bonn to the respective other congress location will be provided for congress participants in the mornings and evenings. Otherwise, the two locations are excellently linked by public transport (journey duration approx. 20-30 min.).
